Angela and Jeff got married on a beautiful April day at North Trenholm Baptist Church. I’ve known this couple for a few years and I was so honored to be able to photograph it! From the beautiful songs sung by some of their Sunday School class members to the DIY elements added by friends, this wedding was so intimate and incredibly sweet. The reception was at the Scottish Rite Center and had adorable Star Wars touches (Jeff is a huge fan!)
I met Angela and Jeff in our Sunday School class. I found out that Jeff worked at one of my favorite restaurants so Angela and I set up a day to have lunch. Well, my ADD self ended up in the olive oil store next door and I was wandering around so amazed. Angela stuck with me and put up with my crazy ways – I knew she was a keeper 😉 From the start this couple has always been so good to me and I am so honored to be a part of their day. Several other members from our class were involved in the wedding and it was so sweet!
During the ceremony, they did a Stones of Remembrance ceremony – an idea Angela got from one of the first sermons she hear at North Trenholm. It was by far the coolest idea I’ve seen. The idea is that in our lives we have certain events that create stepping stones in our lives – stones that move us forward. For Angela and Jeff, their wedding day was just the start for a beautiful life together.
