Whenever photography connects me with people that I’ve known my whole life it forces me to pause and really be grateful that I get to do this for a living. I’ve known Kelley and Jeff most of my life because we grew up in the church together. I remember Jeff led the student worship band when he was in high school and my elementary school self thought he was so cool! When I got to high school and found out he was my homeroom teacher I thought that was pretty darn neat 😉
Kelley and I tried to get them on the calendar last fall and we just couldn’t pull it off, which ended up being a blessing because the location we used was STUNNING. We went to this little area near the Columbia Riverwalk and it was the perfect backdrop for this outdoor lovin’ family. It’s insane how pretty weeds are in photos. Kelley told me that they aren’t big on getting family photos taken and really hoped they didn’t come across “stiff” — well Kelley, y’all didn’t This sweet family of 4 was SO easy to work with and I enjoyed every minute of our session.
The girls were super easy and so photogenic, but let’s take a second to ohhh & ahhhh over how cute Mom & Dad are at the end of the session! They are going on 13 years of marriage and you can tell they still really like each other 😉 I mean, Jeff couldn’t stop giggling and it was adorable.
This is beautiful, all these shots are instant treasures for this family. I especially love the last one. They seem so comfortable and easy with each other. Great work!
Thanks Kari! It was an amazing session!
These are precious and love the ones of mom & dad at the end!
Aren’t they the cutest!? I had so much fun with them!
